Two ways approved care may be covered.
Michigan Home Help and MI Coordinated Health (HIDE SNP) are different coverage paths for eligible people who need personal care at home. MDHHS or the member's health plan determines eligibility, covered services, and approved hours.

In some approved Michigan programs, an eligible adult relative, friend, or trusted caregiver may be paid for authorized services. Eligibility, covered tasks, caregiver rules, and hours depend on the individual case.
Does Medicaid pay for home care in Michigan?+
Michigan Home Help and certain health-plan long-term services and supports may cover approved personal care for eligible members. Coverage must be verified and services may require an assessment and authorization.
